Rena Sherel SOFER
Rena Sherel SOFER is an American actor
from America. Her roles include daytime TV guests, occasional guest
performances as well as TV-produced movies. In 1995, Sofer received a Daytime
Emmy Award for her performance of Lois Cerullo in the soap show General
Hospital. She has been playing Quinn Fuller since 2013 on CBS The Bold and the
Beautiful, a soap opera The Bold and The Beautiful. Sofer was the daughter of
Susan Sofer (a psychologist professor) and Martin Sofer (a Conservative rabbi).
Her family later relocated to Pittsburgh in Pennsylvania. Then, she moved with
her father, David Sofer, to Teaneck, New Jersey in 1970. They resided in
Western Pennsylvania when Sofer was five years old. They lived in Ambridge,
Pennsylvania, where her father directed the Beth Samuels Jewish Center. She
later attended the Frisch School in Paramus, New Jersey, which is an
co-educational Mordern Orthodox Jewish high-school. Sofer was born in North
Bergen, New Jersey. Her father was the rabbi of Temple Beth El. After finishing
her studies at North Bergen High School she was a student at Montclair State
College. Sofer was the first actress to portray Lois Marie Cerullo at General
Hospital. Her first appearance came in 1993, as a manager of a band. Her first
appearance on television was that of Rocky McKenzie, a daytime soap hosts.
Sofer is most likely best known for her performance as Lois Cerullo on General
Hospital (December 15, 1993 - September 24, 1996). In the following years, she
was in guest appearance on the show (February 7-17, 1997; September 30th -
October 2nd 1997). The role she played as the sexy Lois has earned Sofer an
award. Daytime Emmy Award in 1995 for Outstanding Supporting actress in a Drama
Series. Sofer was asked to be a part of CBS' soap opera The Bold and the
Beautiful as the newly-created character as Quinn Fuller. Her first episode
aired on the 12th of July. Sofer has appeared in several notable primetime TV
series as a guest star/supporting cast member rolesincluding Seinfeld, Melrose
Place, The Chronicle, Ed, Friends, Spin City, Blind Justice, Ghost Whisperer,
24, NCIS, and Two and a Half Men.
