Anne W. Burrell, an American TV chef and an former Institute of Culinary Education instructor, is a TV personality. Anne W. Burrell is host of Secrets of a Restaurant Chef on the Food Network, as well as co-hosting Worst Cooks in America. Ann Burrell's Food Network show Secrets of a Restaurant chef is a hit with her signature spiky blond locks and pumped up personality, provides easy techniques anyone can master. Chef Burrell worked at New York at top restaurants and studied the Italian culinary traditions and environment. Also, she was a contestant on Iron Chef America on Food Network. When she was a kid in Upstate New York Chef Burrell was infatuated by food. In Italy, she developed a profound appreciation and understanding of Italian cuisine and its culture. It is a huge influence on how Burrell cooks. Burrell was a member of the Garden of Dreams Foundation Advisory Board which helps brighten children who are facing difficulties. She also serves as an Juvenile Diabetic Research Foundation celebrity ambassador. she is an advocate for children with diabetes and awareness.
